EFF Windows Type Library contains over 1,300 fonts which support over 60 languages.
We are offering fonts made to a very high standard for a fraction of the price. We also offer free advice on font related matters and can provide you with a site licence, font distribution licence or a custom font made to your specification.
All the fonts are available either individually or as full families. The prices of the fonts are given on each page.

We make fonts in TrueTypeTM, PostScriptTM and OpenTypeTM formats for many languages.
System requirements are as follows:
TrueType fonts
This is a standard font format for Windows since Windows incorporates software to use TrueType fonts directly although from Windows 2000 PostScript and OpenType fonts can also be used directly.
- A PC running Microsoft Windows 95 or later
- Any Windows supported printer.
PostScript Type 1 fonts
- A PC running MS-DOS 3.1 (or later) with Adobe Type Manager
- or Microsoft Windows
- Any Windows supported printer.
- There is no need to install any additional software for Windows 2000 or later
- In order for the fonts in PostScript format to work in earlier Windows, you need Adobe Type Manager. If you do not have it you can install free of charge the application ATM Light which can be downloaded from »http://www.adobe.com/products/atmlight/download.html«
OpenType fonts
These fonts are in PostScript Type 2 format with Unicode encoding. They combine the best features of PostScript and TrueType fonts.
- A PC running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later
- Any Windows supported printer.

If you wish to type in English only, you do not need to specify the alphabet – you will be supplied with the standard Latin 1 character set.
If you wish to type in a foreign language please check which Alphabet it belongs to from Fonts by language page, you may also need a Keyboard Driver.

Keyboard drivers
Keyboard Driver is an application that allows an easy access to foreign letters from your English keyboard. Some languages may require just few additional letters not available on the keyboard, for instance, German would require just Ä, Ë, Ö, Ü and ß whereas Russian or Bengali would require complete remapping of the keyboard since they do not use any of the English letters.
All the fonts can be obtained individually (by weight) or as a whole family. The prices of fonts vary depending on type of font and alphabet they belong to.
